cloro uses a subscription-based billing model with monthly credit allocations and concurrency limits based on your plan tier.

Subscription plans

Find our plan options, concurrency levels and pricing at cloro.dev. All plans include:
  • Access to all API endpoints
  • Response headers with credit and concurrency tracking
  • Dashboard access for usage monitoring and billing management

How billing works

Credit allocation

  • Credits are allocated at the start of each billing cycle
  • Credits are deducted when API requests complete successfully
  • Failed requests (4xx/5xx errors) don’t consume credits
  • Credit consumption varies by endpoint and features used (see Pricing)

Credit expiration

Important: Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over to the next month. If you have unused credits at the end of your billing cycle, they will be lost. Plan your usage accordingly to maximize value from your subscription.

Billing cycles

  • All plans operate on monthly billing cycles
  • Billing cycles start on the date you subscribe and renew on the same date each month
  • Renewals are automatic unless you cancel

Managing your subscription

All subscription management is handled through the dashboard:
  • Upgrade plans: Switch to higher-volume tiers with immediate effect. When upgrading, we will prorate your subscription price for the days left in the cycle and deduct your already used credits from the new plan’s allocation.
  • Monitor usage: View credit balance, usage graphs, and billing history
  • Cancel subscription: Service continues until the end of the current billing cycle, but no refunds are issued for unused credits.

Public vs. enterprise plans

Public plans

Public plans are available through the dashboard with immediate activation:
  • Self-service: Subscribe and upgrade directly through the dashboard
  • No overage charges: Service stops when you run out of credits
  • Flexible: Upgrade anytime and cancel at the end of the billing cycle
  • Immediate access: Start using the API right away
What happens when credits run out? On public plans, API requests will fail with error responses once your credit balance reaches zero. To resume service:
  1. Upgrade to a higher-volume plan
  2. Wait for your next billing cycle to begin (credits will be replenished)

Enterprise plans

Enterprise plans are designed for high-volume users with custom requirements and offer significant advantages over public plans. You can check the minimum amount for enterprise plans on our pricing page. Enterprise benefits:
  • Price stability: As websites constantly improve anti-scraping measures and our operational costs increase, Enterprise pricing remains locked for a period of time
  • Enterprise discount: Volume pricing brings lower cost per credit
  • Overages allowed: Unlike public plans, service continues even after exceeding planned credits
  • More concurrency: Higher concurrent request limits that scale with your volume
  • Special localized deals: Custom pricing per model based on your specific needs
  • Multiple environments: Create multiple organizations to split queues while sharing the same billing plan
  • Full 12-month contract: Includes SLAs and commitments from cloro
  • Access to non-public endpoints: Complex endpoints reserved for Enterprise customers
  • Net 7-day monthly payment: Pay by bank transfer or ACH direct debit
Getting started with enterprise: To get a custom quote, contact our support team. Once you’re ready to move forward:
  1. cloro will send the contract for signature
  2. Your Enterprise plan will be configured in parallel
  3. You’ll need to provide:
    • Billing email address
    • Concurrency split per organization (if applicable)
After switching to Enterprise pricing, your new rates take effect immediately. New concurrency resources are typically provisioned within 2-3 days after payment arrives.
